Kmz2Shp is a free service brought to you by the team at Apollo Mapping. Our imagery search engine, Image Hunter, is often used to convert and download shapefile (SHP), GeoJSON (JSON), KML and KMZ files. We created this completely free app to streamline the conversion process for our clients and anyone looking for a similar tool. Kmz2Shp allows you to quickly and easily convert between SHP, GeoJSON and KML/KMZ file formats without expensive, complicated software. There is no limit to the number of files you can upload in a single day as long as each is less than 10 MB, so convert away!
If you’re in the market for high and medium-resolution satellite or aerial imagery, digital elevation models (DEMs) or stereo data, head over to our main site, Apollo Mapping. From there you can access Image Hunter to search for raster GIS data over your area of interest or shapefile and quickly preview your imagery and DEM options. Image Hunter is the most comprehensive search engine for DEMs and high-resolution and medium-resolution satellite imagery from 30-centimeter (cm) pixels on up.
